Hi All!! I am going to be spending 2 weeks in Ireland in mid september! My first trip to Europe! Here is where I will be : Starting in Dublin, then down to Wicklow, then off to Tipperary, then finishing the trip in Cork. If anyone knows of any secret places to vist off the beaten "tourist" path...please let me know!!!! I will really aprecciate any hints, tips, or tricks to enhance my trip ad make it more real!!! I just came back from my second trip to Ireland, but this time we went 3 days in Northern Ireland, and 3 days in the north part of the Republic. Last time I went was the south.
Next time I will be getting a house in Kinsale, and you should really check out Kinsale as well, and Cobh.

Thu, October 30, 2008 - 9:47 AMJust a bit of advice: Take a couple of reliable pens and some journal notepads. I went traveling abroad for my first time earlier this year, and I can't tell you how much that journal helped me when I was setting up to leave and for remembering when I got back. It doesn't seem like it at the time, but you will forget things. With a journal, you won't.
